Driver Licensing Customer Contact Victoria now supports road test bookings

22 Mar 2019

The transition of road test booking support from Driver Testing and Vehicle Information (DTVI) to Driver Licensing Customer Contact Victoria (DLCCV) is completed.

With this transition, there is one change that may impact some students.

Students who are booking their own road test, and wish to call instead of booking online, will have their identify verified by DLCCV before they can book or change a road test appointment. Having their driver’s licence number or vehicle plate number available when they call, can help in their verification.

Please encourage students to use the online booking service for their Class 5, 6, 7 or 8 road test; however, if they need to call DLCCV to make a booking or a change, they must personally call DLCCV to make their request.

Note that existing verification requirements remain unchanged when a driver training school calls DLCCV to book a commercial road test for a student.

Please advise your staff of this change, so they can provide accurate information when speaking to students about road test bookings.

Thank you for your patience as DLCCV works to improve their support of the booking process. If you have any suggestions to improve our booking services, don’t hesitate to contact us.
